Before coming to Florida, Moore played for the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Minnesota Wild, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Buffalo Sabres. The Rangers drafted Moore in the third round (95th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
